Igmar Stoneblood

Childhood:
Igmar grew up in the five king mountains and from early age he spend much of his time roaming around in the mountain, exploring and learning how to survive in harsh conditions. In some of these explorations he could be gone for weeks at a time, but his parents did not object, or they did not care, Igmar was never really sure.
Three times before he had reached adulthood had he met with giants. Two times it was half-giants and one time a stone giant. The last meeting with the stone giant nearly cost his life, but all three giants were defeated by Igmar. He used acrobatics and a mix between ranged and melee attack to drop the giants and the other lesser foes he meet on his explorations.

Growing up, he was an odd dwarf. He didn’t follow the law like most dwarfs did. Igmar did what Igmar felt was the right thing to do. He sought adventure, not for the glory of his clan or for the wealth that might come, but for himself. And maybe while on his journeys he would find something worth protecting or worth killing.
So Igmar became an outcast in the five king mountains, people didn’t hate him, but they rather not have anything to do with him.

Adulthood:
When Igmar was old enough he joined his first caravan group. He wanted to travel, see the world and search for adventure. The restlessness of Igmar kept him exploring, joining new caravans and never even thinking about finding a hairy dwarwen woman and settle down. Igmar figured out early that he did not fit the role as a guide on merely a passenger on the caravan, he wanted to do more. Someone just called him a janitor, doing all kind of jobs there was, but he was also often in charge of scouting. Scouting and preventing ambush, finding shelter and taking care of the people in his own way was what kept Igmar with caravans instead of going on alone.
It was during his second journey that Igmar took up reading, he had always cherished the knowledge of the dwarfes and he kept well up with history and lore about the world he lived in. He was not that confident in discussing with others about what he read, but he saved it all in his head, sure that it would come handy at some point.

The last caravan he joined was led by Sandru Vhiski and he was leading caravan guard on that trip. Igmar was a little let down that they didn’t travel anywhere dangerous, but he became friends with Sandru which was rewarding for Igmar who did not make friends easy. Sandru could be one of those that Igmar could consider traveling with again, if the circumstances were there. The journey led him to Sandpoint.

Now at the age of 63 (his prime time as a dwarf), he have been hanging around in Sandpoint for 6 months and cant wait to go on a new adventure. He have spendt alot time with Sandru since he is the one of the few good friends he has. He have then gotten to know some of Sandru`s "family", this old lady Koya Mvashti have adobted Sandru and another kid named Zachi. Zachi is a promising young boy and they have spend some time the last months in training together. Zachi have been learning survival and scouting skills from Igmar, and Igmar have been trying to learn more the ways of stealthing himself. Despite Igmar looking at Zachi like almost a child and himself being so unlike Zachi, with the heavy beard, his smoking habits and the more grumpy attitude towards other people, they seemed to train and work together pretty well. They both respected the other persons skills. Igmar have made far less progress than Zachi, but Igmar works hard, for him stealthing is important when scouting, this have been the hardest part for Igmar before.
During the afternoon Igmar could usually be found drinking at the Red dragon. There he had met William and Alba, together with Zachi and sometimes Sandru they could drink and talk until late hours.

Personality & appearance:

The deity that Igmar follows is the dwarven god Dranngvit, the god who concers himself with vengeance.
He did not feel the strong calling to Dranngvit, but felt this god would fit best for him. Even though he didnt agree with his god on all account, thinking there were better ways than following the law to get vengeance.

Igmar is and ordinary dwarf, standing 125 cm. He is more agile than most dwarfs, using his acrobatic skills whenever he can.

Lucius Bartholomew born in a crumbling nobel castle in Ustalav. The entire compound had been raided by the black scourge a rampant vampire named Beruso. Leaving only alive he's nearly drained mother and a couple of servants.

Inrith Bartolomew though weakened survived. but could not alone hold the house of Batholomew together. Other prominent families took advantage of the situation and took over the castle, Forcing Inrith to flee to outskirts of Ustalav and take residence in the river forced city of Tamrivena. Taking only with her as much as they could carry.

Here they lived fairy well for commonfolk and after five months Lucius was born to the horror of Inrith. He's pale and opulent complexion, blazing unnatural blue eyes and fang like teeth startled the mother, remembering her near brush with death.
In Ustalav its common for Priests of Pharasma to supervise births.
Shocked over that the new born infant burned its flesh against the healing soothing hands of the priest he still blessed the child and tried to lift some of the curse that seemed to linger in its blood.

Though horrified when Lucius was laid in he's mothers arms he soon broke out infant childish excitement. a mixture of cute garbles and giggles.
as he pulled he's mothers hair she saw he's face. and in it so much of he's dead father. Inrith could help herself to nothing less than to love the child

Lucius had a really tough time growing up. he was often bullied for being different, and ended up in many fights. Some mothers wouldn't let their kids play with him and he was often kicked out of taverns.

He still endured this for 30 years until he's mother passed away. Due to Dhamirs unnatural long life span he was still very young, but he had nothing left here. He just wanted to leave. To get as far away as he possible could. to the end of the world. He chose one of the most traveled caravan routes and worked as a guard the long journey all the way till he finally reached the very tip Verasia, Sand point.
Here he for some reason felt alittle pull to stay. He bought a rustic house in the outskirts of Sand point and was to some degree accepted by the village.
Here he works a lumberjack.

Lucius has now lived in Sand Point for twenty years and has become a really good friend with Shalelu. atleast Lucius really appreciates her company. If she doesn't stay out in the wild. Shalelu usually drops by he's place a lot being in the outskirts and all. where they enjoy drinks and company. Lucius has many times taken arms and helped the people of sandpit againt goblin attacks. And even though he's hut is kinda remote, due to he's mighty presense and haunting looks the goblins fear him and live him alone in the hut.

Lucius frequently visits the temple in sandpoint and the Red Dragon.
and is aquatinted with Amiko and owes her some gold for beer on tabs.
Though he really likes the people of sandpoint still feels the itch to start traveling again. but its not before these last four years Lucius life has started to shape into meaning.

He has befriended and formed the strongest bond with William Bones whom greatly sympathises with he's state of being. William being a Cleric of Pharasma has told him that great Pharasma also being a god of birth surly has blessed him with he's life even thou she is a patron for undead destruction. Undead that took he's family away. Lucius seeing Williams birthmarks in he's hands thinking William is some sort of avatar of Pharasma that has come to save him from he's bleak existence becomes very religious.

Lucius and William spends a lot of time training togather sparring and meditating. Teaching each other swordplay but most importantly how to channel divine power of Pharasma. Lucius is to become the first Paladin of Pharasma.

Personality and Appearance :

Lucius Stand alittle taller that the average man. with strong unnaturally defined muscles and agile almost floating movements and unnatural presence. a penetrating gaze.

White hair and blazing ice blue eyes. two fangs making a slight bulge in he's upper lips.

Virtue : Justice/Faith
Vice: Wrath

William Bones

One morning a young woman named Mary entered the Cathedral of Pharasma in Korvosa with a bolt of cloth in her arms. She told Bishop Keppira d’Bear her touching story of how she was left by her man while giving birth to her son, William. After the birth the roses in her garden became black and lost their thorns, and a family of whippoorwills made their nest at their house. In addition both of the child's hands were marked by spirals. She had asked the midwife what it meant and was told to ask the church of Pharasma. Bishop d’Bear told her that these were signs of approval from Pharasma. And the spirals in his hands are Pharasmas holy symbol. He was obviously meant to serve Pharasma. Bishop d’Bear was fascinated and decided to take the boy on as an apprentice as soon as he reached the age of five. During the years before he entered the service of Pharasma he lived happily with his mother in her small house in Korvosa, and occasionally vent to visit d'Bear with his mother. He was a happy child who was able to get friends anywhere.

At his fifth birthday Keppira came to visit the little family and show William to his new home. William was exited to go to the cathedral and learn about Pharasmas and her teachings. There were few children in the cathedral, so he usually sat reading. His mother came to visit him several times a week, and William never lost contact with his mother. Bishop d'Bear believed that William was destined for something big, so she did everything she could to prepare him for whatever lies ahead. She He accomplished any task set before him. He would be the perfect cleric.

At his fifteenth birthday, when he became a mature member of society, he was accepted into the ranks of the clerics of Pharasma. His mother was overjoyed and extremely proud that her son had accomplished so much at such a young age. So was he... Keppira was also proud of her apprentice and sent him out on errands for the church on a regular basis. After three years of service William had a vision. He haw himself standing in the midst of battle fighting hordes of evil with his divine powers. He told his mentor. She found it wise to prepare William for this brutal future and made sure he was allowed to train with the paladins of Abadar, since Pharasma has no order of paladins. William could feel his powers and insight increase week by week. Hand in hand with his ego...

Several years passed and he performed several deeds for Korvosa. He even helped the heroes of Korvosa during the great plague. After he helped find a cure to the plague he went back to Bishop Keppira d’Bear and told her that he wanted to leave Korvosa. The corruption he could deal with, but a queen that murders her people... He would not be part of a society like that. His mother felt the same after hearing what William had learned. The two sold everything they owned in Korvosa and set out to find a new, less corrupt place to call home. They traveled through much of central Varisia, encountering several inconveniences along the way. Nothing William couldn't handle, of course. In Ravenmoor they met Leonard Kriegler, the mayord younger brother, at the inn. He told the tales of the past troubles of Sandpoint, and how a group of heroes had made the small town one of the safest places in Varisia. William and His mother decided to go there and see what the town had to offer. Leonard helped them get a cheap room to spend the night, which was surprisingly hard in the evening. It was a quiet night until William woke up to the sound of someone going through his stuff. The intruder was startled and sprang back towards the window. It was so dark he could barely see anything. "Who are you!" said William in a sharp whisper. Leonards face came to mind. "Leonard?" The creature froze. Then it fell backwards through the window and was gone. The next morning both his gold and Leonard were nowhere to be found. William wanted to get the gold back, but he wouldn't risk his mother getting dragged into danger. William sold some of this magic items and saw it fit not to tell anyone about the affair.

They traveled swiftly towards Sandpoint only stopping to sleep, eat and buy new supplies, with their diminishing founds. As they traveled into the Lost Coast region William and his mother became enthralled by the beauty of the area. No great cities and no royalty. Only the clean, salty air, with its rolling landscape floating along damp and lonely moors, and patches of woodland strewn about. When they arrived in Sandpoint they saw that the stories were true. This mid-sized town were perfect! This would be their new home! Their remaining founds were almost gone, so William had to sell the rest of his weapons and armor to buy a house. He wouldn't need it in this town anyway. There were no clerics of Pharasma in Sandpoint before William came along so he was welcome to work in the cathedral, as a midwife, an undertaker and a supporter of the needing. As always he did his job well...

After a couple of months in his new hometown he met Ameiko Kaijitsu and fell hopelessly in love with her. He wouldn't talk to her about it though, or make any advances. At least not yet. He knew he could accomplish anything he set his mind to, and be great at it to, but he was no ladies man. He had next to no experience with women and he would not take the risk of scaring her away. Instead he tried to make her take the first move by impressing her. All could see he was a great cleric, but he had to show he was more. He signed up as a protector of town in times of distress. This way he could show of his martial skills and be a hero at the same time, though there wasn't much trouble for him to take care of. He also started attending the Rusty Dragon, Ameiko's tavern, to talk to people and making sure they had a good time in her tavern. He hoped she would see what he was doing, and see how social and charismatic he is.
In the Rusty Dragon he met the "young" dhampir named Lucius Bartholomew. Lucius had trouble accepting what he was. So William told him "Even if you are part living and part undead Pharasma let you live. The Lady of Graves probably has something big planned for you, before she put you in one." This was the spark needed to fire up the dedication in his heart. He would follow Pharasmas teachings and fight for her cause, and William would help him attain the powers necessary. The two of them became a team, sparring and meditating together. Lucius proved to be a great swordsman and taught William several tricks along the way. This was the start of something good, this was fate...

Personality & appearance:

He knows wery well how perfect he is, and refuse to admit he is wrong. He is very stubborn and expect people to give in to his wishes.

Leonard, the bastard, owe William a moderate sum of gold. If he got the chance he wouldn't mind getting it back... And teach the bastard a lesson while he's at it...

He is a tall and slender man, standing 180cm. He has long, black hair and gray eyes with golden circle around the iris. Both of his hands have spiral shaped birthmarks which luminates when he activates his divine powers.
